Thankyou to a great fundraising night in Cork Airport on December 22nd by the Carrigaline Gospel Choir, we have purchased a huge range of wonderful maths resources for the school
Thank you to All!
In September 2023 two of our parents, Tanya Laffan and Karen Buckley, organized a bingo night which raised enough funding to purchase a new sensory resource for the children- a giant water pillow big enough to occupy an entire room.
the children enjoy the sensation of not only lying on this as the water underneath them moves but also listening to the sound of the 3 tonnes of water as they do so!

Harry is a lovely boy who attended Sonas School for 2 years. When he graduated in summer 2020, he and his family decided to organise a cycle challenge as a fundraiser for Sonas, Shine and The Rainbow Club. Harry’s challenge was to cycle 100km - 3km a day for 33 days! Not only did Harry successfully complete this challenge but he raised over €10,000 and won a lot of hearts along the way. We are hugely grateful to Harry, his sister Chloe and parents Martina and Ricky for this tremendous accomplishment.
This money, along with 20,000raised by Lenore Good climbing Kilimanjaro on behalf of the school was used to buy a playground |
John Finn raised 20,000 euro by running a marathon and we were able to fund our second playground
